Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Topping Technologies LLC (“Topping Technologies”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit toppingtechnologies.com. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.
The short version
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
- We do not set cookies on visitors’ browsers. See our Cookie Policy.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- The website has no sign-up or contact forms. If you email or call us, we use what you send only to respond and to do business with you.
Information we collect
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web server records basic technical details about each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site running, to diagnose problems and to protect it against abuse such as automated attacks. They are kept for a limited period and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Information you send us. When you email us (for example at sales@toppingtechnologies.com) or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, company, contact details and the details of your request. We use it to reply, to scope and provide services you ask about, and to keep normal business records.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run our business. Email we receive is delivered through Microsoft 365 and filtered by Proofpoint for security. The website is hosted on a server in the United States. These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.
Third-party content and links
The Flamethrower page shows video previews from YouTube. The preview images load from YouTube’s image servers, and the video itself loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player only when you press play. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that content.
The site links to other services, including Eventbrite for event registration, our podcast host and podcast apps, calendar services and social networks. When you follow a link, the other site’s privacy practices apply, not ours.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may give you additional rights. We honor applicable requests. To make one, email sales@toppingtechnologies.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we apply security headers and access controls to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold. To report a security issue, see our security.txt file.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
